The experience

A multicultural event show built around the brief

Rhythms of the World is a configurable dance production that brings several visual and musical styles into one event journey. The repertoire can draw from the company's current Russian, Brazilian and South American, Indian, American, Australian, Japanese and other themed performance material.

Rather than promising a fixed list for every booking, SOEA confirms the represented styles, performers and costume changes for the specific event. This keeps the program practical, respectful and aligned with the audience and creative direction.

Make it your own

Select the places, styles and scale that fit

The event brief can influence the represented styles, number of sections, cast, costumes, soundtrack and balance between dance and specialty skills. Current performer availability and rehearsal lead time determine the final repertoire.

Where cultural accuracy or protocol is important, that requirement should be identified early so suitable performers, advisers or partners can be considered.

How it works

Give the audience a clear journey between styles

Each section is selected and ordered so the music, costume changes and performance energy create a deliberate progression. Transitions and narration or event cues can be discussed where the client needs the audience to understand the journey or connect it to a broader program.

Repertoire, costume and changeover planning

We confirm the performance area, floor, access, dressing and quick-change space, sound, lighting, cast size and run-sheet timing. More sections and costume changes require suitable backstage access and rehearsal lead time.
