The experience

A contemporary SOEA production for Chinese New Year events

The Lunar Lion Stunt Show is SOEA's contemporary entertainment production inspired by the visual energy of lion-dance presentation. Lion costumes, dancers and acrobatic performers are staged with modern music and choreography for guest arrivals, corporate celebrations, festivals and feature-show moments.

This product is a modern event show rather than a claim of ceremonial or traditional lion-dance delivery. If a brief requires a specific cultural protocol or traditional presentation, tell us during planning so the appropriate format and practitioners can be considered. The show can include lion roaming during its runtime, to engage crowds and spread good luck!

Make it your own

Shape the show around the event moment

Select an arrival, stage or combined format, then tailor the cast, duration, music and supporting dancers to the room. Brand colours and event styling can inform the visual direction where the available costumes and lead time allow.

Any requested ceremonial elements, cultural protocols or claims of traditional authenticity must be agreed separately and supported by suitable practitioners.

How it works

Use the lions for an entrance, reveal or feature set

The production can lead guests into a room, create a reveal around a key event cue or perform as a concise stage feature. We plan the route, sightlines, music and performer positions so the lion costumes remain visible and the movement works safely in the available space.

Before the event

Route, height and performance-area planning

We confirm access routes, doorway and ceiling clearance, floor surface, audience separation, performance area, dressing space, sound and timing. The final movement plan is adapted to the venue, especially when the lions travel through guests or enter from outside the main room.
